Introduction

The Observation wheel at Dusk at Tulip Nights at Tulleys Farm.
The Observation wheel at Dusk at Tulip Nights at Tulleys Farm.

The evening began at Three Bridges Station, where I boarded the familiar 84 bus toward Tulleys Farm East. The ride was smooth, the countryside unfolding gently as the golden hour light softened over the fields. I’d made this journey many times before — often to see the tulips in bright spring daylight, and on other occasions for the Christmas light trails when winter transformed the farm into a festive wonderland.

But this evening was different. A new event. Tulip Nights.

As the bus pulled away at Tulleys Farm East, the air felt cool with the shift from day to night. I began walking toward the main entrance. The first glimmers of evening light displays edged the fields. As I moved closer, the Observation Wheel gradually came into view, silhouetted against a sky brushed with gold and soft lavender.

Music drifted from the speakers — upbeat and lively, setting the tone for the night ahead. The lights were brightening gently, signalling that the transformation from day to night was underway.

This was Tulip Nights.

An evening not just of flowers, but of light, music, and the excitement of experiencing something familiar reimagined under the night sky.

Come with me on this illuminated spring journey — one glowing trail, one blooming field, and one unforgettable spring evening.
